Kingston CANVAS React Plus - Reviews
In the fully digitized world we find ourselves in, how and where we store our files are increasingly important and the use of Secure Digital memory cards has always been one of the most reliable and popular ways to do this. especially among videomaking and photography enthusiasts . To carefully choose an SD to insert in your camera or to keep your files, it is not enough to buy a product that can contain many gigabytes of files, but that is able to quickly transfer them to another device without running into huge expectations or worse setbacks.
These days we have tried the new Kingston SD card, the
Kingston CANVAS React Plus accompanied
by its faithful Mobile Lite Plus SD adapter to be inserted into a USB 3.0 port
.
The performance and specifications of this card, which we
will tell you soon, are especially designed for photography professionals , but
it is certainly also suitable for all owners of a mirrorless or reflex camera
who want to keep their amateur shots, as well as their videos in 4K on a high quality
SD card, no expense spared.
The Kingston CANVAS React Plus can be found on the official
website of the manufacturerand on other stores that deal with online technology
at a price that is close to € 120 for the 128GB cut .

The belonging of the card to Class 10 ensures us a minimum
transfer speed of 10MB / s up to a maximum of 300MB / s, absolutely falling
within the canons of the Ultra High Speed II that promise a maximum write speed
of up to 312 MB / s. The V90 class , the highest currently available for Secure
Digital cards , winks in particular at videomakers who will be able to
technically record movies with a resolution up to 8K . As we mentioned above,
the card is a UHS-IIand therefore it is provided with a greater quantity of
pins than what one is normally used to seeing. The PC to which we will connect
it will necessarily need a suitable reader to make the most of all its
capabilities, but to cope with any lack of it, the adapter provided by Kingston
MLP intervenes which, if connected to a USB 3.0 socket, will allow us to make
the most of all the card's potential in both reading and writing. Good
performance noticed during the use test with the Fujifilm X.T10 camera , both
in 4K videos and in bursts of photos.
As for the resistance factor, the card was transported in a
backpack (within the limits allowed by the DPCM of the government, mind you!)
In not exactly favorable conditions, but it came out completely intact together
with its adapter which prove to be built with excellent materials . Kingston SD
cards, among other things, also withstand very high temperatures up to 85 ° and
extremely low up to -25 °, perfectly preserving their state and qualities.
In summary, the quality of the product you are going to buy
is undoubtedly very high and its performances, as we have already said at the
beginning of the article, are designed and indicated above all for
professionals in the video and photo sector. The starting cost makes us very
skeptical for its use in the consumer range, but for anyone who wants to invest
a little more and have a product in their hands that would make every
photographer happy, it is an ideal purchase.
